The Swiss Alp Resort is the ideal starting point for experiencing the pristine beauty of nature in the Swiss Alps. A good tip on hot summer days is to visit the glacier valley, where you can relax and cool down. Or if you feel energetic, some breathtaking steps at the lower Grindelwald glacier lead 1000 metres into the ravine, along rock galleries, past torrents and gigantic glacial mills. You will be astonished at this true masterwork of Nature, with smoothly polished walls of pink and green marble, and jagged rocks where crystals can be found.

And each time you look out of the window, you will be delighted again and again. Every breeze smells of alpine blossoms, of herbs or freshly mown grass. Every day brings new impressions. Every evening frees you anew from your daily cares. In Grindelwald you can simply leave them behind you and enjoy complete relaxation.

Golfing in Grindelwald has been nothing new for some time now. You already have an fine 7-hole course at your disposal, and this will soon be extended. If you are not yet “handicap-ripe”, professional teachers and coaches will help you enjoy this wonderful game. Interlaken-Unterseen, only a short drive from the Swiss Alp Resort, offers one of Switzerland’s most beautiful and varied golf courses. Surrounded with snow-covered peaks, nestling between the lakes of Thun and Brienz, golfers at all levels meet on this outstandingly attractive championship course to play against the background of an enchanting alpine foothill landscape set in a large nature park.

With so many interesting things to do, including shopping, culture and entertainment, your new home in the Swiss Alp Resort is the ideal pied a terre. Only about an hour’s drive away are picturebook cities like Lucerne and Berne, the federal capital. Here you can stroll and go shopping in charming old arcades, or take a break in one of the inviting cafes. And only half an hour away is Thun, the “alpine metropolis”, a dreamy old picturebook town with pedestrian zones so you can shop peacefully in the attractive little stores. Right through the year there are festivals both large and small to enjoy in Interlaken, on the lake of Thun or in Brienz. They offer all kinds of entertainment and culture to suit your taste, and for a really special experience, don’t miss Erich von Däniken’s Mystery Park at the bottom of Grindelwald valley. Only opened a few years ago, this unique attraction is already world famous.
